Anti-IGF-1R (phospho-Y1161) Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically recognises IGF-1R when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1161. It is unconjugated and validated for Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunoprecipitation (IP), reacting with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The reported molecular weight of the target is ~ 95,155 kDa.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IGF-1R around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 1161. The antibody detects endogenous levels of IGF-1R protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr1161, and may cross-react with insulin receptor protein when phosphorylated at Tyr1185.

Provided at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
