Anti-IGF-1R (phospho-Y1161) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody targets IGF-1R phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1161. It is validated for WB and IHC and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IGF-1R around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 1161, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of IGF-1R protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr1161. It may cross-react with insulin receptor protein when phosphorylated at Tyr1185.

The product was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity reported as > 95% by SDS-PAGE. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2, and the target appears at ~ 95, 155 kDa.
