Anti-IgA Antibody [KT153]

A mouse monoclonal antibody targeting human IgA, available from Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies range. Clone KT153, of isotype IgG2b, is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml and is unconjugated. The antibody is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications and reacts with human samples.

The immunogen is an IgA2 hinge region peptide (CHVKHYTNPSQDVTVPCPVPPPPPCCH) conjugated to a carrier protein, and IgG is purified through a Protein A column. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.09% Sodium Azide. Recommended dilutions are 1 µg/ml for ELISA and 1/1,000–1/20,000 for WB. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
