Anti-IFT57 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the intraflagellar transport protein IFT57, a ~49 kDa component of the IFT-B complex that mediates bidirectional movement of cargo along ciliary microtubules. Generated and validated by Antibodies.com, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum for use in western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples.

IFT57 is widely expressed across ciliated tissues and has been investigated in the context of ciliopathies, including short-rib polydactyly syndrome and Bardet-Biedl syndrome. Researchers working on primary cilia assembly, hedgehog signaling, and photoreceptor development rely on this polyclonal reagent to probe endogenous IFT57 levels in cultured cell lines and tissue sections.
