Anti-IFN-γRα (phospho-Y457) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets IFN-γRα when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 457. It is validated for Western blot applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.

The reagent was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human IFN-γRα around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 457, and specifically detects endogenous levels of IFN-γRα protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr457. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity of >95% by SDS-PAGE. Reported molecular weights are approximately 54 kDa and 90 kDa. The IFN gamma receptor is a class II cytokine receptor that forms an integral part of the IFN gamma signal transduction pathway.
