The IFITM3 protein (interferon-induced transmembrane protein 3) is a downstream effector of the type I interferon response that restricts replication of multiple pathogenic viruses in vitro, including influenza A, SARS-CoV-2, dengue, and Zika. It localizes to endosomal and lysosomal membranes, where it alters lipid bilayer curvature and blocks viral entry and fusion. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com was raised against IFITM3 and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human and mouse samples. Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody, supplied as a liquid formulation intended for research use only in studies of innate immunity, viral restriction factors, and interferon signaling using cell culture and tissue models.
