IFITM3 (interferon-induced transmembrane protein 3) is a key effector of the innate immune response, restricting replication of pathogens such as influenza A virus, dengue virus, and SARS-CoV-2, while also influencing germ cell maturation and cancer cell survival. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against human IFITM3 and is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated whole antiserum suitable for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

Researchers studying antiviral defence, immune signalling, tumour biology, or developmental processes use the reagent to detect endogenous IFITM3 in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections, where it produces a band around 15 kDa on immunoblots and clear cytoplasmic staining in IHC. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with any HRP- or fluorophore-labelled secondary reagent that matches the chosen detection platform, and the polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognising multiple epitopes on the target. Store at -20 °C for long-term stability.
