IFIT1 (Interferon-Induced Protein with Tetratricopeptide Repeats 1) is a cytoplasmic effector of the innate antiviral response, strongly upregulated by type I interferons and frequently used as a readout of IFN-α/β signaling. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com in a 50 µl vial, recognizes IFIT1 and is validated for Western blot detection in mouse and rat samples. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage, which is useful when probing endogenous IFIT1 induction following viral challenge, poly(I:C) stimulation, or treatment with interferon inducers in cell culture and tissue lysates. Because the reagent is unconjugated, users can pair it with their preferred HRP- or fluorescent-labeled secondary antibody for chemiluminescent Western blot or immunofluorescence workflows. Aliquot the antibody stock upon arrival and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Intended for research use only in studies of innate immunity, viral restriction factors, and interferon pathway biology.
