Anti-IFIH1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting MDA5, also known as IFIH1, supplied by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 695–865 of human IFIH1 (NP_071451.2) and purified by affinity chromatography. It is presented as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and recognises a target that migrates at approximately 140 kDa.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
