Anti-IFIH1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against recombinant full-length human IFIH1 and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography to > 95% purity by SDS-PAGE, this polyclonal IgG reagent detects endogenous levels of the cytosolic viral double-stranded RNA sensor MDA5 at the expected ~117 kDa band in human samples. The unconjugated antibody from Antibodies.com is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and ships at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, supplied as a 100 µl vial sized for multiple staining and blotting experiments. Reactivity is restricted to human IFIH1, supporting studies of innate antiviral immunity, RNA virus infection models, and IFIH1-linked interferonopathies including Aicardi-Goutières syndrome and CADM-140-associated clinically amyopathic dermatomyositis.
