Anti-ID3 Antibody

Recognizing ID3 (Inhibitor of DNA Binding 3, HLH protein), this Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody was raised in rabbit and targets a dominant-negative regulator of basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors. By heterodimerizing with partner bHLH proteins, ID3 blocks their DNA binding and thereby governs cell-cycle exit, lineage commitment during hematopoiesis, T-cell maturation, and angiogenesis. The ID3 locus is also recurrently altered in Burkitt lymphoma and other lymphoid malignancies, making this reagent useful for oncology research.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a vial, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) on human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format permits downstream conjugation to a chosen fluorophore, biotin, or enzyme for tailored detection.
