Anti-ICAM5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets ICAM5, a neuronal surface glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that is predominantly expressed in the telencephalon and is also known as telencephalin. The antibody is supplied at 100 µl per vial, has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse specimens, and supports research into neuroinflammatory signaling, synaptic plasticity, and ICAM5-mediated leukocyte adhesion in neural tissue. Because ICAM5 expression is largely confined to forebrain neurons, this reagent is well matched to studies of CNS-specific cell adhesion, neuronal development, and the role of telencephalin in immune–neuronal cross-talk.
