Anti-ICAM2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified as a polyclonal reagent by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated antibody recognizes human Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 2 (ICAM2), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that is also known as CD102. ICAM2 is constitutively expressed on resting endothelial cells, lymphocytes, monocytes, and platelets, where it contributes to leukocyte adhesion, transendothelial migration, and recirculation of lymphocytes through secondary lymphoid tissue. The reagent is provided as 100 µl of liquid in a vial and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications on human samples. For Western blot, the antibody can be used to probe whole-cell lysates at the expected molecular weight region of the mature ICAM2 protein; for IHC, it supports chromogenic detection of ICAM2 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded vascular and lymphoid tissue sections. Recommended handling includes brief equilibration to room temperature before use, storage of the stock at -20 °C, and division into single-use aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The product is intended for research use only and is supplied without a conjugated reporter, allowing it to be paired with a secondary antibody of the investigator's choice for immunoblotting and tissue-section labeling.
