Anti-ICAM1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets ICAM1 (also known as CD54), a cell-surface glycoprotein implicated in leukocyte adhesion and transendothelial migration. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The 50 µL vial is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. It was raised against a recombinant human ICAM1 immunogen and detects the endogenous total ICAM1 protein in samples of human, mouse and rat origin. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it suitable for both expression-level analysis and tissue-localization studies. As a polyclonal rabbit IgG preparation, the reagent offers multi-epitope recognition of the target, which can be advantageous when probing denatured or variable regions of ICAM1.
