Intercellular adhesion molecule 2 (ICAM-2, CD102) is a glycosylated immunoglobulin superfamily member that mediates leukocyte binding to endothelium through integrin LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18). The Antibodies.com Anti-ICAM-2 polyclonal reagent was raised in rabbit against the human target and supports studies of lymphocyte recirculation, transendothelial migration, NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, and immune synapse formation. Unlike ICAM-1, ICAM-2 is constitutively expressed on resting endothelial cells, platelets, and most lymphocyte subsets, making this antibody useful for baseline characterization of vascular and immune cell biology.

Supplied as an unconjugated, Protein A-purified IgG fraction in a 100 µl vial, this polyclonal reagent is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows. Researchers investigating endothelial activation, transplant rejection, tumor immune infiltration, or leukocyte trafficking employ this antibody to probe ICAM-2 expression across primary endothelial cultures, lymphoid tissue sections, and relevant cell lines. Recommended storage is at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, with short-term handling at 4 °C.

Affinity purification from rabbit serum and screening against the human antigen support batch-to-batch consistency, while the unconjugated format allows users to couple the antibody with their preferred HRP, biotin, or fluorophore detection reagents for chemiluminescent or fluorescence readouts.
