Anti-ICAM-1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against human ICAM-1 (also known as CD54 or intercellular adhesion molecule 1), with the immunogen being a synthesized peptide derived from the human sequence flanking the non-phosphorylation site of tyrosine 512. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography and is supplied in liquid form at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, as a 50 µL aliquot. It specifically recognizes endogenous levels of ICAM-1 protein and is validated for Western blot and ELISA applications in human samples, with the unconjugated format allowing flexible downstream detection. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
