Anti-IBSP Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent recognises Integrin-Binding Sialoprotein (IBSP), also called Bone Sialoprotein (BSP), an acidic phosphorylated glycoprotein of the integrin-binding sialoprotein family that contains an RGD motif for integrin-mediated cell attachment and plays a central role in hydroxyapatite crystal nucleation during skeletal mineralisation. Validated for Western blot detection of human IBSP, the unconjugated antibody is supplied at 200 µL and supports studies of osteoblast differentiation, mineralised matrix deposition, and tumour cell adhesion to bone.

Raised in rabbit, the polyclonal reagent binds native and recombinant human Integrin-Binding Sialoprotein and is used by research groups working on bone matrix biology, osteoporosis, fracture healing, and skeletal metastasis in breast and prostate cancer models. The unconjugated format gives flexibility to pair the reagent with user-selected secondary antibodies, and the IgG isotype is compatible with common detection systems including HRP-conjugated and alkaline phosphatase-conjugated secondaries.
