Anti-IAH1 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against a recombinant fusion protein spanning amino acids 1–248 of human IAH1 (NP_001034702.1), affinity purified and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated liquid in a 100 µl vial. The reagent is validated for Western blot detection of the isoamyl acetate-hydrolyzing esterase 1 homolog, a roughly 27 kDa mitochondrial enzyme implicated in ester hydrolysis and amino acid catabolism, at a working dilution of 1:500 to 1:1,000.

Recommended handling includes brief centrifugation to collect liquid at the base of the tube before opening, aliquoting on first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and storage at -20 °C; the vial is shipped at 4 °C in PBS pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal as a stabilizer. The antibody recognizes endogenous IAH1 in human, mouse, and rat samples and pairs cleanly with HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary reagents and standard ECL substrates on PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes.
