Anti-HuB / D Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this Antibodies.com primary antibody recognizes the HuB and HuD RNA-binding proteins of the ELAV-like neuronal family. The antibody reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it useful for cross-species studies of neuronal differentiation, mRNA processing and neuroendocrine marker expression.

Researchers apply it to western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and ELISA workflows, and the 100 µl format provides enough volume for routine titration experiments and multiple membrane or slide preparations. Because HuB and HuD expression is enriched in neurons and in small-cell lung carcinoma and other neuroendocrine tumors, the reagent is frequently chosen to chart neuronal development in rodent brain sections, to characterize neuroendocrine cell lines, and to support paraneoplastic syndrome research where anti-Hu serology is relevant.
