Anti-HSPA6 Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against HSPA6 (Heat Shock Protein Family A Member 6), supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum from Antibodies.com. HSPA6 is one of the strictly stress-inducicible members of the HSP70 chaperone family; it is essentially undetectable under basal culture conditions and rises sharply after heat shock, oxidative challenge, proteasome inhibition, and other proteotoxic insults. The reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples, supporting studies of the heat shock response, protein-folding capacity, and cellular adaptation to stress. Because HSPA6 lacks the constitutive expression seen in many HSP70 paralogs, this polyclonal reagent is well matched to tracking endogenous induction kinetics in cell culture and in tissue sections, including comparisons between stressed and unstressed controls in cancer, neurodegeneration, and ischemia research models.
