Anti-HSP70 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for heat-shock protein research, this reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against HSP70 and supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human HSP70 around the non-acetylation site of K246, and the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, allowing it to detect endogenous levels of HSP70 only when the K246 residue is in its non-acetylated state. The antibody is unconjugated, of polyclonal clonality, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) and ELISA applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. For long-term integrity, it should be stored at -20°C, where it remains stable for up to one year.
