Anti-HSP70 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a Rabbit polyclonal preparation raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human HSP70. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 50 µl per vial as a 1 mg/mL liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is calibrated for Western blotting (1:500–1:2000), immunohistochemistry (1:100–1:300), and ELISA (1:40000); performance in other assay types has not yet been tested. The polyclonal antibody of the IgG class detects endogenous levels of HSP70 protein and has been validated on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of the heat-shock response. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. Each lot is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
