Primary antibody from Antibodies.com targeting Hsp70, the inducible 70 kDa heat shock protein that acts as a molecular chaperone in stress response, protein refolding, and chaperone-mediated autophagy, and is widely studied in models of cancer, neurodegeneration, and ischemia-reperfusion injury.

This monoclonal antibody is produced in rabbit as a recombinant clone and is supplied as a 50 µl vial in 1×TBS at pH 7.4 with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. It is unconjugated, allowing flexible pairing with user-chosen HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary reagents, and is validated for western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and flow cytometry (FC). Demonstrated reactivity covers human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species experimental design from cell lines to rodent tissue.

The glycerol-containing formulation permits short-term storage at 4 °C; for long-term stability, aliquot and store frozen at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. For western blot, samples are typically resolved on SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes, and probed at working dilutions optimized in 5% non-fat milk or BSA blocking buffer. The unconjugated format makes this reagent suitable for multiplex panels and for downstream applications where direct labelling is not required.
