Anti-HSP60 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets HSP60 (also known as HSPD1 or CPN60), a ~60 kDa mitochondrial chaperonin that assists in folding of imported proteins and is upregulated under cellular stress. Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg liquid aliquot, this reagent is validated for Western blot detection of HSP60 in human, mouse, and rat samples. For optimal results, dilute 1:500 to 1:2000 in blocking buffer, incubate overnight at 4°C with whole-cell or mitochondrial lysates prepared in RIPA buffer, and detect with an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody. Store the vial at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity. The unconjugated IgG format allows flexible pairing with custom fluorophore or enzyme labels for downstream applications.
