Anti-HSP27 (phospho-S78) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against HSP27 when phosphorylated at Serine 78. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.

Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human HSP27 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 78, and it detects endogenous levels of HSP27 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser78. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 27 kDa.
