Anti-HSP27 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies catalogue, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the HSP27 heat-shock protein and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, namely a synthesized peptide derived from human HSP27 around the non-phosphorylation site of serine 82, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of HSP27. It is unconjugated and is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it suitable for a broad range of routine detection workflows. Reactivity has been confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples, so the reagent can be deployed across both human cell-line work and standard rodent model systems. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
