Anti-HSP27 (Ab-78) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 76–80 (A-L-S-R-Q) of human HSP27 and recognizes the endogenous 27 kDa heat shock protein (also known as HSPB1, Hsp27, HSP28 or SRP27). The antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume and is affinity-purified by epitope-specific peptide chromatography on a rabbit IgG backbone. Its formulation contains phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Validated applications include Western blotting at a recommended dilution of 1:500–1:1000 and immunohistochemistry at 1:50–1:100, with reactivity confirmed against human samples and a predicted molecular weight of 27 kDa. The vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for storage at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
