Anti-HSL (phospho-S855) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) when phosphorylated at Serine 855. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The unconjugated antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human HSL around the phosphorylation site of Serine 855, and specifically detects endogenous levels of HSL protein only when phosphorylated at Ser855.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein runs at a molecular weight of approximately 85 and 115 kDa.
