Anti-HSL Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen affinity-chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL, LIPE) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The unconjugated IgG antibody detects endogenous levels of HSL and was generated using a synthesized peptide derived from the human protein around the non-phosphorylation site of Ser552, giving broad cross-reactivity across Human, Mouse and Rat samples validated for Western Blotting, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
