Anti-HSF1 (V297) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises HSF1 (V297) and is supplied as a 1 mg/ml solution in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), with reactivity confirmed against human and mouse samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 267–315 of human HSF1. The reagent detects endogenous levels of HSF1 protein and recognises a band of approximately 82 kDa. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.

HSF1 (Heat Shock Transcription Factor 1) is encoded on chromosome 8 and is predicted to localise to the nucleoplasm and cytosol.
