Anti-HSF1 (S303) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to greater than 95% purity by SDS-PAGE, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Heat Shock Transcription Factor 1 (HSF1) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH ~7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 270–315 of human HSF1, and the antibody detects the endogenous ~82 kDa HSF1 protein in samples from human, mouse and rat origin. Validation is reported for Western blotting at a working dilution of 1:500–1:000, and the reagent is intended for research use only. For routine handling, the supplier recommends short-term storage at 4 °C with aliquoting and long-term storage at –20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, while the unconjugated format leaves the antibody free for downstream labelling or detection with secondary reagents of the user's choice.
