Anti-HSF1 (phospho S307) Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the phosphorylated serine 307 residue of human Heat Shock Factor 1 (HSF1), the master transcription factor that drives the cellular response to proteotoxic and heat stress by inducing heat shock protein expression. Phosphorylation at S307, mediated by ERK1/2 and casein kinase 2, modulates HSF1 DNA-binding activity and subcellular handling of the factor, and is widely studied in the context of stress signaling, thermotolerance, and oncogenic transcriptional programs.

Supplied as a 50 µl liquid vial of unconjugated IgG raised in rabbit, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of phospho-S307 HSF1 in cultured human cells and for immunofluorescence localization of the activated factor in fixed specimens.
