Heat Shock Factor 1 (HSF1) is a stress-activated transcription factor that drives expression of heat shock proteins such as HSP70 and HSP90 in response to proteotoxic, oxidative, and thermal stress. It is a focus of research in cancer biology, neurodegeneration, and aging, where its role in chaperone networks and proteostasis is under active investigation. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antiserum and has been validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows. The antibody recognizes HSF1 in human and mouse samples, supporting cross-species studies in cell lines and tissue sections. HSF1 migrates at approximately 57 kDa by SDS-PAGE, and the polyclonal format provides multiple epitope coverage, which is useful for detecting the various modified and oligomeric states that HSF1 adopts during activation and stress signaling.
