Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against endogenous HSF-27, a target otherwise known as CDK5RAP3 and IC53, and is generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the internal region of the human protein. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and it is unconjugated, making it suitable for direct labelling workflows in individual laboratories. It is of the IgG isotype and is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C, after which aliquots should be stored at −20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity for long-term use. The reagent has been validated for three orthogonal applications: Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), so it can be deployed across expression profiling, tissue localization and quantitative immunoassay studies. It cross-reacts with samples from three model organisms, showing reactivity with human, mouse and rat specimens, which makes it particularly useful for comparative experiments that bridge cell-line work with rodent tissue validation. Researchers studying heat-shock-related signalling, ischemic stress responses or CDK5 regulatory complexes can therefore rely on a single stock to cover preliminary screening by ELISA, confirmatory Western blot analysis of cell lysates, and localization work on fixed tissue sections. The product is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
