Anti-HSD3B2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody targets human HSD3B2, the type 2 isozyme of 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase that catalyzes conversion of pregnenolone to progesterone and DHEA to androstenedione within the adrenal cortex, gonads, and placenta. Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, the reagent supports studies of steroid hormone biosynthesis, adrenocortical function, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia research, where loss-of-function mutations in the HSD3B2 gene disrupt glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid synthesis.
