Anti-HSD17B2 Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab196784)

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody is raised against HSD17B2 and supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent. It is validated for Western blot applications and, according to the manufacturer's documentation, reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 118–387 of human HSD17B2 (NP_002144.1) and is affinity purified. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, with a reported molecular weight of 35–40 kDa. The recommended dilution for Western blot is 1:100–1:500. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is lot specific.
