Anti-HSD17B2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against recombinant human HSD17B2 (17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2) and affinity-purified using the immunogen to deliver a reagent that recognises the endogenous total HSD17B2 protein. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is presented in a 50 µL vial as an unconjugated, IgG-class polyclonal preparation. The antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) on human samples, making it suitable for studies of steroid metabolism, oestrogen and androgen inactivation, and related signalling pathways in human tissues and cell lines. For best stability and performance, the vial should be stored at –20 °C, and the reagent is intended for research use only.
