The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 461–510 of human Hrs, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Hrs protein. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE. The molecular weight of the target is approximately 86 kDa.
