Anti-HPSE Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against a recombinant human HPSE immunogen, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com (catalog number A38562) is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl vial. The reagent is presented unconjugated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol for freeze-thaw stability, making it suitable for storage at –20 °C. It is validated by the manufacturer for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and has been benchmarked on samples from human, mouse and rat origin, where it recognises the endogenous HPSE protein (heparanase; gene symbol HPSE, with synonyms including HEP, HPA, Hpa1, HPR1, HPSE1 and HSE1). Because the target is detected at the endogenous level rather than against a tagged overexpression construct, the reagent is appropriate for studies of heparanase expression and activity in cell- and tissue-based assays.
