Anti-HPD Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody targets 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPD), an enzyme also known as 4HPPD, HPPDase, or PPD. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and it is unconjugated for direct immunodetection. The antibody was raised against a recombinant human HPD immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography on the immunogen, yielding an IgG-class polyclonal preparation of high specificity for endogenous total HPD. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies across these species. For routine handling, the vial should be shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, aliquoted and stored at -20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Research-only use.
