Anti-HPD Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets HPD (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase), a non-heme iron-dependent enzyme in the tyrosine catabolism pathway that converts 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate to homogentisate. HPD protein is most highly expressed in liver and kidney, and loss-of-function variants in the HPD gene are associated with tyrosinemia type III, making reliable detection tools relevant for inherited metabolic disease research, hepatocyte biology studies, and pathway analysis in rodent model systems.
