The enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPD) catalyzes the conversion of 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate to homogentisate during tyrosine catabolism, and this reagent provides a polyclonal antiserum for tracking its expression. Raised in rabbit and unconjugated for downstream flexibility, the antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows and recognizes human and mouse orthologues. Distributed by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, it supports research into hepatic metabolism, tyrosinemia type III, and hawkinsinuria through tissue lysate analysis and fixed-section staining.
