Anti-HOX-C12 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting HOX-C12 is supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. It is unconjugated, raised in rabbit, and validated for use in western blot (WB). Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, mouse, and rat samples.

According to the manufacturer, the immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human HOX-C12, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of HOX-C12 protein. The product is formulated at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 30 kDa.

The HOXC12 (Homeobox C12) target is a transcription factor mapped to chromosome 12 (positions 53954903–53958956 per Ensembl ver. 103.38). It is classified among plasma proteins and predicted intracellular proteins, with tissue expression described as enhanced in skin.
