The HNRNPCL1 protein (Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein C-Like 1) is targeted by this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, an unconjugated primary antibody supplied at 200 µl in liquid format. From Antibodies.com, the antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, with reactivity confirmed across human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids within the human HNRNPCL1 C-terminal region, supporting selective recognition of this RNA-binding protein. Predicted molecular weight for the target is approximately 32 kDa, which is consistent with the band position observed on Western blot membranes of whole-cell lysates.

The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It ships cold and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. Purification is performed by antigen affinity chromatography, and the unconjugated IgG format allows flexible pairing with user-selected secondary reagents for chromogenic or fluorescent detection workflows. Suitable dilution ranges start around 1:500 to 1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50 to 1:100 for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections.

Intended for research use only, this HNRNPCL1 antibody supports studies of pre-mRNA processing, spliceosome assembly, nuclear mRNA export, and germ cell biology, fields where HNRNPCL1's tissue-restricted expression, including notable enrichment in testis, and its functional relationship to the broadly expressed HNRNPC continue to be characterised by laboratories working on the hnRNP family of nucleic acid-binding proteins.
