Anti-HNRNPA1 Antibody

Rerously characterized polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets HNRNPA1, a ubiquitous RNA-binding protein of the hnRNP family that plays central roles in pre-mRNA splicing, mRNA export, transcript stability, and translation regulation. HNRNPA1 is also implicated in telomere maintenance and has been linked through gain-of-function mutations to neurodegenerative disease (notably multisystem proteinopathy, ALS, and frontotemporal dementia) and to several cancers where its overexpression contributes to altered splicing programs.

The antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, shipped in a 100 µL vial. This format is compatible with standard immunodetection workflows without requiring a secondary reporter conjugation step, and the glycerol-based buffer supports storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw loss across long-term use.

Validated applications include Western blot for detection of the approximately 34 kDa HNRNPA1 band and immunohistochemistry on human tissue sections. Reactivity has been confirmed against human HNRNPA1, supporting studies of splicing factor redistribution, stress-granule localization, and pathological cytoplasmic aggregates in patient-derived samples.
