Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L (hnRNP L) is a nucleoplasmic RNA-binding protein that shapes pre-mRNA splicing, regulates mRNA stability and translation, and contributes to nuclear export of mature transcripts. The protein also participates in stress granule assembly and the control of alternative splicing events, making it a frequent target in studies of RNA biology, post-transcriptional gene regulation, and cellular stress responses.

This unconjugated primary antibody is raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and supplied as 100 µl of antiserum. It detects human and mouse hnRNP L and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. The unconjugated format gives laboratories freedom to pair it with fluorescent, chromogenic, or HRP-based secondary detection systems of their choice.

For storage, the vial should be kept refrigerated at 4 °C for routine use, with working aliquots frozen for longer-term stability through repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Each vial is intended for research use only and supports applications including tissue section staining, whole-cell imaging, and immunoblotting of nuclear and cytoplasmic lysates. The reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com.
