Anti-HNF1B Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against HNF1B (Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 1-Beta), a POU-homeodomain transcription factor that controls embryonic organogenesis of the kidney, pancreas, liver, and genital tract. Supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot of rabbit IgG, it is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous HNF1B in human, mouse, and rat samples. The target appears as multiple isoforms (reported molecular weights of approximately 61 kDa, 58 kDa, and 45 kDa), and altered expression has been documented in clear cell renal carcinomas, MODY5 / renal cysts and diabetes syndrome, and urogenital tract malformations. The recommended workflow begins with lysing cells or tissues in standard RIPA buffer, separating 20–40 µg of total protein by SDS-PAGE, transferring to PVDF or nitrocellulose, and probing overnight at 4 °C with the antibody at standard rabbit polyclonal dilutions.
