HMGN5 (High Mobility Group Nucleosome Binding Domain 5) is a nucleosome-binding architectural protein that modulates chromatin accessibility and regulates transcription of downstream genes in vertebrates. Researchers investigating prostate cancer, melanoma, and glioma—cancers where HMGN5 overexpression has been documented—use anti-HMGN5 antibodies to probe nuclear protein levels and chromatin remodeling changes in cell lysates.
This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl liquid aliquot and is validated for Western blot detection of the human target, supporting band visualization at the expected molecular weight region. The polyclonal antibody is intended for research use only in immunoblotting workflows such as SDS-PAGE followed by transfer to PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes, and should be stored at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
