HMGN1 (High Mobility Group Nucleosome-binding protein 1) is a nucleosome-binding non-histone chromatin protein that modulates the architecture of the chromatin fiber and influences transcription, DNA repair, and replication dynamics in the nucleus. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human HMGN1 and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. The 100 µl volume supports several rounds of blotting or multiple IHC slides, and the polyclonal composition enables recognition of multiple epitopes across the target protein.
Investigators use this reagent to study chromatin organization, examine HMGN1's role in innate immune signaling through TLR4, and track changes in HMGN1 distribution across disease models. For best stability, aliquot the antibody and store at -20°C; minimize freeze-thaw cycles and avoid prolonged exposure to room temperature. Supplied as a liquid in a vial, it is intended for research use only and is ready to dilute directly into standard blocking and incubation buffers.
