Anti-HMGB1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes High Mobility Group Box 1 (HMGB1), a ~25 kDa nuclear chromatin-binding protein that, once released into the extracellular space, acts as a damage-associated molecular pattern (DAMP) in inflammation, sepsis, autoimmune disease, and tumor progression.

Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the antibody cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat HMGB1 and is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum, enough for multiple membranes or tissue sections in a typical research project.
